While my big brother Gros Manseng focused on pumping out volume, I decided to focus on concentration and quality. I've always been the small one in the family, hence the "Petit" in my name, but I learned early on that being small allows you to hold onto flavors that the big guys lose. My home was royal territory, and I even had the honor of christening King Henry IV. That's right, a drop of my golden spirit touched royal lips at his baptism.
