REVIEW

Medium garnet color. Nose with a very fresh vibe and notes of blackberry, raspberry, and a hint of baked bread. Air brings dried plum with raspberry syrup. Very likeable juicy palate with some complexity offers fresh blackberry, a mix of raspberry and blackberry with very present earthy notes, vanilla, and a distinct mint-in-the-jam note. Slight oaky note, but well integrated. Blackberry in the aftertaste. Tannins are pretty smooth, just a bit too strong in the background. Mid acidity. The wine has a very jammy character - but the fresh, juicy kind - not the I’m-going-down-next-year one. The wine has a few more years in it.

THE WINE

This Dunaj took a 12-month gap year inside an oak barrel to really find its vibe.
