REVIEW
Medium garnet color. Rich nose with ripe cherry, ripe fig, dark chocolate, and baked plum jam. Super juicy, likeable and rich, generous round palate feels very fresh with lots of red fruit - ripe cherry, wild strawberry with a hint of black fruit berries Very smooth tannins with a touch of mid acidity that holds the wine. The ripeness of the palate makes it feel pretty sweet. Beautifully aged, very nice expression of ripe, but fresh red fruit character.

THE WINE
Named after the fastest ship in Columbus’s fleet, even if it took a slow 28 months to age in oak. It blends Cabernet Sauvignon with Slovakian varieties Dunaj and Rudava. Rudava combines Castets with a triple hybrid of Tenturier, Aleatico, and Puchlyakovskij. It is a technical marathon that proves some ships take their sweet time to dock.
