REVIEW

Pale copper color. Toned-down red fruit with a dry feel on the nose. Cabbage, grapefruit, and red orange in a very nice, typical Nestarec palate. Bubbles make it all even more fun. Dry, low-mid acidity. Sauerkraut/fermented cabbage aftertaste. The cabbage isn’t a negative at all - Nestarec can make crazy natural wine aromas very pleasant, and it just fits the wine character perfectly. Rating these wines is very difficult, too, because an average drinker wouldn’t probably even use them for cooking. But if you love surprises and crazy but kinda sophisticated natural wines with wild aroma combos, this is it.

THE WINERY

Milan Nestarec is basically the rockstar of the Czech wine scene. Based in the rolling hills of Moravia, he took over his father’s vines and decided to break every boring traditional rule. Instead of making stuffy wines for suits, he crafts bottles with serious soul and zero chemicals. For Milan, wine is a living thing that should reflect the culture and the person who made it. He treats his vineyards like a wild ecosystem and keeps things raw in the cellar. No filtering and no weird additives. Just pure, high-energy juice that looks as good as it tastes.

THE WINE

This wine is a total throwback to the days when having a good time was the only rule on the menu. It is a sparkling PG with a cheeky splash of PN for extra personality. Think of it as your favorite spring accessory. It is light, fizzy, and effortless. At only 10% ABV, you can skip the deep thoughts about soil or fancy barrels. This one is all about the vibes. The winemaker let it ferment naturally on its skins and stems before tucking it into a pressure tank to keep every single bubble inside. It's easy drinking at its finest.
